These specialized crankbait rods take advantage of Shimano's High Modulus TC4 Construction?, which wraps a double inner horizontal layer of advanced, dynamic fibers with an inner and outer spiral of high-modulus graphite. The result is a virtually indestructible yet lightweight rod. All blanks and guides are similar to the spinning and baitcasting rods. These casting models use a Fuji exposed-blank reel seat for direct contact with the blank, which allows for the sensitivity needed to detect light bites.
